Over the last few weeks Business Environment Bristol have been baking away to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
On Friday 30th September the WestPoint Business Centre team and their clients baked a delicious range of treats to go on their popular Friday doughnut trolley, except on this occasion we were asking for donations for the treats rather than giving away the customary free doughnut. The Westpoint centre at Queens Road raised an impressive £94.00 to get the ball rolling and the following week CityPoint set out to match or even beat that amount.
On the morning of the 7th October the Temple Meads CityPoint Business Centre team set to work to lay out lots of beautiful homemade cakes baked by the team and donated by clients in the Break Room. With the cakes laid out and the coffee brewed clients slowly began to fill the room to sample our delicious cakes. After a successful morning of selling cakes we then visited client’s offices in the afternoon to sell the remaining delights and at the end of the day we counted the money. CityPoint raised a total of £104.00 for Macmillan bringing the Business Environment Bristol total up to £198.00.
