The leading serviced office operator Business Environment has seen a record rise in sales in the second half of the year. Sales have risen by over 320% versus the same time in 2011 at its two Bristol locations.

One of their centres is set in the heart of the Bristol Temple Quarter regeneration zone with easy access to the station and transport links and has sold over 8,000 sq ft of space on a number of long term deals.

Commenting on the sales increase, David Saul Managing Director said: “We think we are seeing the first signs of an improvement in the south west. This year we’ve been working hard to support new businesses in Bristol and so far the work is paying dividends. We have seen a record rise in the amount of office space let in the last 3 months when compared to last year. Our Bristol team have worked closely with the council and the Invest in Bristol team to create a number of unique offers to support businesses moving in to Bristol and taking advantage of the rise in investment in the city”.

Business Environment has increased the amount of event and conference space available at its Temple Gate location “CityPoint”. Recently opening 2,000 sq. ft of additional meeting rooms and open plan conference space with views of the station, the centre also has a number of Day Offices and Co-working desks.

Stacey McCarthy, Area Manager for Business Environment South West, added: “We launched a number of initiatives this year to attract inward investment and new businesses keen to get started. The secret to the huge sales increase has been putting together a unique package for each business and removing all the upfront costs which minimises the risk new businesses face and allows them to keep the capital working for the business”.

Business Environment launched a number of offers aimed at inward investment businesses to support the Invest in Bristol initiative launched earlier in the year.
