BE Offices has been awarded the Investors in People ‘We invest in people, gold’ accreditation’ marking a decade of Investors in People recognition for the company
The multi-award-winning flexible workspace operator was first recognised by Investors in People in 2011 and has been continually recognised ever since, most recently awarded (in 2017) Investors in People Silver Status (until 2020).
Only 17% of Investor in People’s accredited organisations achieve gold accreditation, an accolade which recognises that not only are the correct policies in place but more than that, it means everyone – from CEO to apprentice takes ownership for making them come to life.
The Investors in People survey and interviews revealed that there is a ‘passion and pride from the vast majority of people working for BE Offices’ backed up by the survey which found that 91% agreed that it is a great place to work. Despite the challenges of COVID-19 it found that BE has ‘continued to drive innovation and ensured its people and their clients remain at the heart of what they do.’
The highest performing theme in the survey was the enabling of collaborative working with 98% of staff agreeing that their role enables them to work well with others. An overwhelming majority of staff also praised the ‘supportive, open and approachable leadership’ team which IIP noted as ‘impressive’.
Commenting on the award, Nazia Siddiq, HR Director, said: “This year marks a decade of Investors in People recognition and we are thrilled to have elevated our position from silver to gold.
“This is an amazing achievement, especially during such challenging times, and I want to thank all our staff for their participation. We received an 86% response rate from staff which is an extraordinary level of engagement and well above the IIP average.
“Whilst this is a wonderful accreditation, which we are all incredibly proud of, we also recognise that there is always room for improvement, which is why we will continue to invest in our people and strive to be our best.”
