All types of businesses, whether they are based in office space in London or a workshop in Edinburgh, are making the most of new technology to innovate their companies, according to a business futurologist.
The latest technology is being used by companies of all shapes and sizes in a bid to boost their digital offering and make the services they offer relevant in the 21st century, James Bellini said.
From mobile working to selling items online, the majority of businesses are profiting from using technology, as it helps them to approach work in a fresh and innovative way.
Mr Bellini said: “Many of the successful companies in this country aren’t in big, futuristic market sectors – some of them are locksmiths or selling ladies tights and are very successful. What they’ve done is harness all the technologies of the new digital world to make themselves more successful.”
According to research by Becrypt more and more staff are now asking for flexible and mobile working arrangements to fit around other commitments.
