Businesses operating in serviced offices in London and other buildings are taking part in a new scheme that hopes to get office workers buzzing with joy.

InMidtown is offering bee hives to 560 businesses in a pilot scheme to see if it will enhance the morale in workplaces.

This innovative approach to boosting the atmosphere in the office is hoped to increase, improve and promote team building.

Olswang, a law firm, is one of the businesses that has signed up to the project. It now has a bee hive housed on top of its roof.

Speaking to the BBC, Sam Hudson, corporate responsibility executive at Olswang, said: “It just seemed like a great project and staff absolutely love it.

“We are going to sell it off to our staff and raise money for our charity partner Coram. Hopefully give some to our clients as well.”

Aviva employees recently completed a corporate team building exercise which involved decorating the new offices of the mental health charity Mind.
