Small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are just as likely to benefit from this implementation as are large businesses.
Andy Horn, general manager of the firm, said: “The biggest anticipated benefits of moving to the cloud are greater financial control and access to applications that will help enhance business efficiency. In addition to this, home-working is seen as another key benefit.”
Mr Horn added that while he acknowledged many had concerns over the safety cloud computing, there were more “solutions entering the market” that made this issue more than manageable.
A recent poll by iTWire found that 67 per cent of IT managers said cloud computing and virtualisation held the most promise for delivering value to their organisations.
