Start the day right
Located centrally in sprawling London, you’d expect Victoria to be crammed full of great places where you can tuck into a hearty breakfast. And you’d be right.
With the BE Offices located on Victoria Street itself – the main road that leads from Victoria Station down to Westminster Abbey – there are options aplenty, but our favourite is Café Nuvo.
Tucked down Artillery Row, Café Nuvo offers up one of the best breakfasts in the neighbourhood for prices that won’t break the bank.
If you’re more in the market for something a little sweeter, check out Ravello. Independently-owned, award-winning Ravello has a clutch of locations across Westminster, offering up excellent coffees, croissants, and cakes.
Looking for a mid-morning coffee?
If you’re looking for that 11am pick-me-up, why not pop along to Iris and June, just a two-minute walk from our business centre? As well as some great coffees, you can also pick up a brunch-time snack or one of their delicious home-made cakes.
Live it up at lunchtime
Lunchtime options abound throughout Victoria, but what can be better than finding a food market and picking up some of the freshest lunch food around?
Just around the corner from the office is Strutton Ground Market, which hosts a selection of London’s best street food stalls every day, meaning you can choose from falafels to burritos and everything in between.
If you’re looking to add a spot of culture to your lunchtime, grab some food and head off to some of Victoria’s array of historical landmarks.
Both Westminster Cathedral and Westminster Abbey are only minutes away from the office, and with Buckingham Palace and the beautiful St James’s Park – complete with resident pelicans – also in the vicinity you can squeeze in some of the UK’s best heritage sights in your lunch hour!
After-work attractions
Fancy an after-work wind down? What better way to do it than in a Bavarian beerhall. Munich Cricket Club on Victoria Street has the best German beers and food and even has a weekly Oompah band – perfect if you want to make every day Oktoberfest.
For classic pub vibes head to the Windsor Castle, an authentic wood-panelled London boozer tucked behind the cathedral that has a good selection of ales and pub grub in a traditional setting.
And just because it’s evening time, that doesn’t mean that the culture dries up. The Tate Britain, one of the country’s top art galleries, is just a 15-minute walk away and every other month holds its Tate Late evenings so you can explore the art after dark.
