Good management key to enthusiastic serviced offices
Finding a perfect serviced office space for your company is the first step on the long road to creating a thriving business that employs happy, motivated staff.
Unfortunately, you can’t solely rely on the latest cutting edge technology and beautifully designed office space to keep staff enthused.
Once your workers are settled it’s the role of the mangers to keep team spirits high.
According to the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), employers are undoubtedly feeling the pinch and many cannot afford to reward staff financially, but that doesn’t mean managers can just sit back and do nothing.
Ben Willmott, senior public policy adviser at CIPD, said: “Employers need to deliver consistently high quality leadership and management on the front line.”
“How managers communicate, consult and coach and develop staff is critical.”
He added that if firms fail to invest in a strong management team they will witness office morale plummet.
The Work Foundation’s Stephen Overell recently came to a similar conclusion, claiming managers need to act now to stymie rising stress levels.
