Aspiring entrepreneurs wanting to start a new business in serviced offices in London will be comforted to know that the capital city is a great place to launch an enterprise, according to the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).
The FSB believes that London is a brilliant place for wannabe businessmen and women to launch their companies because it has plenty of competition and good transport links.
Commenting on the importance of transport links, Matthew Jaffa, London senior development manager at FSB, said: “When it works well [the tube] it does work extremely effectively [and] you wouldn’t get that kind of interlinkage tube network that you do anywhere else across the country.
“It also has good links to many national rail services with Paddington, Euston, Waterloo [and] Victoria – vital to get to all parts of the country.”
With regards to competition, Mr Jaffa said that competition on the high streets “breed business”, which in turn would get more people coming through the door.
The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) is the UK’s largest campaigning pressure group promoting and protecting the interests of the self-employed and owners of small firms.
