Those in shared and serviced offices may be interested to hear that LV= are launching a scheme which surveys leavers and starters at the company in an effort to improve staff engagement.
Joiners will be surveyed a week after starting with the company, then again after 30 to 60 days about reasons for joining the company, their first impressions, engagement, training and communication.
Leavers’ questions will include those to do with learning and development opportunities, work-life balance and the relationship with their immediate superior.
LV= started out as London Victoria in 1843 and provide products including insurance, savings and investment accounts.
David Smith, HR director for LV=, told HR Magazine: “Starting a new job is daunting and it is really important to gauge the views of new starters to ensure they are given the support required to perform to their full potential.”
