          With almost 50 years of service to the company between them, we meet our award-winning Barbican centre team.

          It takes exceptional people to deliver exceptional customer service, something we at BE Offices pride ourselves on. And its not just something we say about ourselves, although we feel justified in doing so. Our clients consistently sing our praises with 5* reviews and in the case of our Barbican centre, our clients voted us the Flexible Space Operator of the Year 2019 through the Flexible Space Association’s annual awards scheme.

          So what does it take to be an an award-winning business centre?

          Yasmine Shah has been the Barbican centre manager for almost 17 years.

          “Providing excellent customer service is our raison d’etre. It’s absolutely fundamental to everything we do on a daily basis and it’s among the reasons our clients stay with us for as long as they do. From being greeted with a smile on reception in the morning to joining in with one of the many events we put on in the building, our clients appreciate our positivity and attention to detail, the rapid response to requests and the quick turnaround time on any matters relating to facilities or maintenance. Our clients know they can get on with the business of running their businesses while we take care of everything else.”


          Our assistant manager, Georgia Homes, has been with us for 18 months. Her approach to her role is to ensure that: “Everything in the centre is done to the BE standard.”




          The longest-serving member of our team is our front of house concierge Eric Ofori-Atta who has been with the company for almost 21 years. His priority, aside from the security of the building, is: “To make the customer feel happy, to be friendly and greet people with a smile.”Sabina Jukaj



          Receptionist, Sabina Jukaj, has been with us for exactly one year. Asked what is the most important thing about her role her response is: “To be welcoming and to have good time management when assisting with the organisation and set up of meeting rooms.” 




          Centre support assistant, Paul Alicuman, is the newest member of our team, having joined this month, but it already feels like he’s been with us for much longer, having settled into his new role beautifully. Paul sees his priority as “Making sure client needs are always met and that clients are always happy with everything.”


          Certainly, from the many 5* reviews the team receives, it would seem as though they are achieving their objectives:
