Flexible and mobile working are being brought into focus this week with a series of events as part of National Work-Life Week.

The charity Working Families has organised the week which includes a programme of webinars on subjects from communication to getting the right life-work balance right and how to manage flexible workers.

People are invited to join is either as an employer, an employee, a team or as an organisation with each aspect of business being able to get something different out of it.

Reflecting the changing nature of the working environment in Britain, National Work-Life Week is only in its second year, but sees many organisations getting involved in various ways.

Last year companies including NFU Mutual, Royal Bank of Scotland and Aspire Housing did a variety of different things like holding wellbeing checkups, leave at five and dress down days as well as bring your child to work days.
