It was early 2005 when work began, a tall order in many respects, to change a very dated building into the shining beacon that it is today. Yes, it is fair to say that 150 Minories has undergone a massive transformation and has been refurbished to suit the modern era. The building now boasts seven floors north and south, some partitioned and some left like a blank canvass, to facilitate a larger client looking to design their own space to suit their business needs.
As you enter, the spacious lobby is upon you; high ceilings and sleek furniture invite the visitor inside, while our smiling receptionist is only too happy to look after you. The lower level accommodates those who require conferencing and meeting facilities, with seven meeting rooms and two interview rooms of varying sizes available to hire on an hourly basis. On this same level, clients can also look after their well being, by visiting our “be fit” gymnasium. The gym is now fully equipped with two treadmills, two bicycles, a rowing machine, free weights and stand alone weight machines, all brand new and ready to use. Advice on how to use the machines can also be obtained by a professional gym instructor. Afterwards, clients can refresh themselves in one of the shower rooms. From the gym to the relaxation area, clients can sit down and choose from a selection of hot and cold complimentary beverages and a piece of fruit available throughout the day whilst catching the news headlines on the plasma screen.
All suites have LCD door screens outside enabling clients to display their company logo – a nice touch for visitors to see. Inside, ergonomic wave desks with two drawer pedestals and adjustable leather chairs make for a very modern day workstation. Storage needs are catered for with large sliding door tambour units with normal shelving and suspension filing. Walls are decorated with vibrant colours complimented by tasteful artwork and all suites are individually comfort cooled. LG3 lighting creates an almost daylight atmosphere and ensures suites are contusive to the well being of the occupants. In short, 150 Minories has indeed come full circle and evolved into a great place to work, so now one can think modern, think business, think lifestyle and be assured of the fact that “together we are building the business lifestyle that everybody wants”.
