Our Charities

Working to support charities in our community…

Business Environment have been working with many charities for a number of years. We also work with our clients to sponsor and assist charities were we can.

OUR CHARITY SUPPORT DAYS:

In 2011 we launched “Charity Days” for our team members. Each employee is given 3 days paid leave to work for a charity of their choice. We are donating over hundreds hours of time this year. For the latest example of our ‘charity days’ activities please see our charity news feed.

	RAYS OF SUNSHINE www.raysofsunshine.org.uk Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity exists to grant the wishes of children who are living with serious or life-threatening illnesses between the ages of 3-18 who live in the United Kingdom. Donate here: http://www.justgiving.com/beoffices
	PARKINSONS www.parkinsons.org.uk We look at why Parkinson’s occurs, the wide variety of symptoms the condition may cause and the range of treatments and support available. 	MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT www.macmillan.org.uk/ One in three of us will get cancer and it’s the toughest thing most of us will ever face. JEANS FOR GENES

Jeans for Genes Day raises money for Genetic Disorders UK, the charity that aims to change the world for children with genetic disorders.
Individually, genetic disorders are rare but together they affect 1 in 25 children born in the UK – that’s more than 30,000 babies each year. BREAST CANCER CARE

Breast Cancer Care combine the personal experiences of people affected by breast cancer with clinical expertise, using this in a unique way to provide information and offer emotional and practical support, bring people affected by breast cancer together, campaign for improvement in standards of support and care, promote the importance of early detection. VARIETY

Variety, the Children’s Charity, is about increasing positive experiences for children and young people throughout the UK who are sick, disabled or disadvantaged. Variety provides both practical help including Variety Sunshine Coaches, Variety Wheelchairs and specialist equipment through our grants programmes, as well as creating memorable childhood experiences in our Variety at Work scheme.
