For the third year running Business Environment were delighted to enter mens and womens teams in The Standard Chartered Great City Race.
The 5k road race around the City of London attracted over 5,000 runners this year and raised huge amounts of money for charities around the world. Business Environment runners did their fundraising for Rays of Sunshine children’s charity, and raised nearly £2,000. That takes our total to over £7,000 for the last 3 years from this race.
Results
We entered 19 runners into the race with our fastest runner being Liam Mitchell, who finished with a great time of 19mins & 54 secs.
The men’s team was 161st out of 663, the women’s team was 145th out of 287 and mixed (fastest 2 men and 2 women) was 117th out of 268.
