BE Offices, Headspace and BE.Spoke clients help raise over £1700 for Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
From Belfast to Southampton BE Offices continued its long-standing support last week for the annual Macmillan Coffee Morning. Receptions and breakout spaces were buzzing with activity as clients eagerly taste tested home baked goodies as well as shop bought treats, over-indulging somewhat due to the tempting variety of bakes on offer, but all for a good cause so the calories don’t count.
Over the last 12 years we are very proud to have raised around £25,000 for this very worthy cause with the occasion having become a stalwart of the BE Offices community events programme.
Even during the pandemic in 2020, we were able to continue our tradition by holding a hybrid event, with those in the office participating in person and those working from home invited to send in photos showing how they were showing their support. Nothing beats an in-person event however, and we’ve been delighted to see client participation increase year-on-year since then as more people return to the office.
Macmillan exist to help cancer sufferers from diagnosis, through treatment and beyond, offering emotional, practical and financial support. The charity estimates that in 2021, they reached around 2.4 million people with their services and helped millions more through their information and support resources.
