Business owners don’t need to spend a fortune to overhaul their serviced office spaces and make them a vibrant place to work.
According to decor specialist office-furniture.net, putting in some stylish sofas or desirable swivel-chairs can transform an office space from “old and dreary to young and happening” in an instant.
But business owners were urged to try and liven up people’s actual workspaces, as opposed to just revitalising communal areas like kitchens and receptions.
“One of the primary accessories that have to be changed, are desks,” the firm noted.
It added: “By using an imaginative looking office desk, people can be inspired and driven to work harder.
“From wooden to metallic, all kinds of desks are available today to adorn the office.”
Recently, printer manufacturer Lexmark claimed that many workers were left feeling embarrassed by the ageing and highly-unstylish equipment found in their respective office spaces – including archaic fax machines and clumsy, non-flat screen monitors.
