Exercising in the office space can help re-energise over-worked employees and reduce the likelihood of back pain and muscle cramps.

According to Chris Freytag, a serviced office space motivation expert, simple stretches and holds can stop you from feeling like you’ve become one with your office chair.

Writing for Kare11.com, Ms Freytag said that office chair stretches are the best solution to many workplace aches and pains.

“I find that doing them after sitting for a while helps to re-energise your body and reduce stress in your neck and shoulders,” she claimed.

She noted that while office space stretches should not replace other forms of exercise, they can help people top up their weekly fitness regime.

Ms Freytag added: “Without [a] workout I would need a pot of coffee and a box of donuts to keep going. Just kidding about the donuts that is. I love coffee!”

Recently, the International Stress Management Association said office space music can be used to boost morale.
