Many workers would prefer to see their own pay reduced than see their colleagues out of work, despite the fact that many people are struggling to make ends meet.

Office workers were less keen to lose other things, such as the coffee machine as a cost cutting measure with 57 per cent saying they’d rather lose green initiatives than easy access to caffeine.
Unemployment in the UK has now reached 2.51 million with many of those who are newly unemployed being 18 to 24-year-olds.
It seems that camaraderie is high during these tough times though 38 per cent of people would rather see colleagues go if it meant their salaries stayed the same or were increased.
