BE Offices, a multi-award-winning provider of flexible workspace in the UK, today announces a partnership with real estate giants, Derwent London, to take the part ground and 1st floors of The White Chapel Building.
The deal marks a new chapter for the veteran serviced office provider characterised by a firm stamp of approval from the UK’s largest London office-focused real estate investment trust (REIT).
BE Offices is confident of opening at almost full occupancy at the end of 2025 when the refurbishment project, delivered by Thirdway Interiors, will be completed.
The eight-storey The White Chapel Building was acquired in December 2015 and sits on a one-acre site. Phase 1 of the refurbishment, totalling 184,000 sq ft of offices, completed in Q4 2016 and was fully let in under seven months. Office tenants include Asthma + Lung UK, Breast Cancer Now, Claremont Consulting, Comic Relief, Emperor Design, Government Digital Services, OFX, Pay.UK, PLP Architecture, Reddie & Grose LLP and Shipowners’ Club, UK Forex.
The property has typical Derwent London characteristics of generous floor to ceiling heights, fantastic natural light and excellent transport connections as well as column free floor plates around a central atrium. It is located directly opposite Aldgate East underground station and close to Liverpool Street and Whitechapel Crossrail stations.
