          Jonathan Weinbrenn, managing director BE.Spoke, has been announced as a finalist in the Property Awards 2020.

          The prestigious annual awards are a focal event for the full spectrum of the industry and showcase outstanding performances from individuals and organisations in the property sector. They take place on 21st April 2020 at Grosvenor House in central London and are this year celebrating their 25th anniversary.

          Jonathan and BE.Spoke have been shortlisted in the Entrepreneur of the Year category, aimed at firms or individuals that have demonstrated significant business or financial flair, vision or innovation in any field of UK commercial property during the judging period of November 2018 to November 2019. Judges were specifically looking for candidates who have been brave enough to take risks where others have rested on their laurels, or done something particularly different or innovative, perhaps being an early mover in an area or sector that no-one else saw the potential of.

          BE.Spoke completed it’s first deal in April 2019. It was the first provider to offer corporate occupiers with short term flexible space tailor-made to their specific needs. The idea was to source suitable space, negotiate terms, design, manage and implement the fit out, design and install a complete IT package and continue to manage the property on behalf of the client for the entire length of a lease or licence period.

          BE.Spoke directly leases properties from landlords and then negotiates an appropriate flexible lease or licence for the corporate occupier. In certain cases BE.Spoke leases more space than the client requires if it is the right building in the right location and meets all its needs. BE.Spoke then simply converts the surplus space into flexible workspace under the BE Offices or Headspace coworking brand.

          The managed workspace division of BE Offices has gone from strength to strength. Clients include Ernst & Young, Centrica, Hive, Network Rail, HS2 and Blenheim Chalcot, amongst others.
