Bristol’s Business Environment Go Ape Over Gorillas
Serviced office operator Business Environment, with offices situated in Clifton and Temple Gate, is helping to raise significant funds for gorilla conservation projects by sponsoring a Wow! Gorilla in association with Bristol Zoo.
A series of life-size gorilla sculptures (WOW Gorilla) will appear around Bristol in a mass public art event to help raise awareness of the threats being faced by gorillas and celebrate Bristol Zoo Gardens’ 175th birthday.
Business Environment, which has generously donated £300 towards Gorilla “Splodge”, is working in partnership with Business Network South West. Local businesses, organisations and schools from across the city are being encouraged to sponsor a gorilla sculpture.
Stacey McCarthy, centre manager of Business Environment Temple Gate said: “Following the success of Business Environment’s involvement with Elephant Family last year, a scheme to help endangered Asian elephants, we thought it would be fitting to get involved with a similar project in our local town.
“Business Environment prides itself in giving back to the local community and we are looking forward to seeing the decorated gorillas around the city this summer.”
“Splodge” will be situated outside Colston Hall, Bristol and will be unveiled to the public on 4 July.
