On 10th July 21 Business Environment employees took part in the annual Great City Race, raising money for London-based charity Rays of Sunshine, which grants wishes for children with life limiting conditions from around the UK.
Having participated in the race since 2008, BE runners completed the 5km circuit around The City’s most iconic buildings along with more than 5,000 other participants from 350 firms.
David Saul, managing director at Business Environment and co-founder of Rays of Sunshine said: “The City Race is a fantastic initiative that engages workers in charity fundraising activities. At Business Environment we take giving back seriously and I’m proud that 21 employees decided to take part this year! Rays of Sunshine does some really important work in supporting children and their families who are going through very difficult times and the money raised will help more wishes come true.”
Employees that took part in the race, representing Aurora, &Meetings, Auriel Property Management, 3 business centres and central services were: Nazia Ahmed, Lee Bourne, Michael Browne, Natalia Bustos, Andy Emden, Jonathan Gabor, Adraa George, Chloe Georgiades, James Harrison, Dennis Hefferman, Lara Hlidberg, Edwyn Huggins, Ashley Hughes, Andrew Issott, Nicola Mason, Liam Mitchell, Adam Neroni, Diego Quintero, Edison Quintero, William J Rodriguez and Ashleigh Sharp.
Business Environment raised £560 in total for Rays of Sunshine.
