Famous for doughnuts delivered to every client office each Friday, we have ditched the American favourite for more traditional BRITISH CAKES. It’s all in celebration of the Diamond Jubilee taking place over the forthcoming bank holiday weekend.
Commenting on the celebrations, Nick Gandy, Director of Business centres said: “We’re turning the weekly doughnut trolley red, white and blue and only offering British cakes to our clients on Friday 1st June. We can’t believe we are not doing doughnuts. They’ve become part of our weekly routine and our clients love them. For one day only everything changes in favour of our official Top Ten British cakes list. Featuring favourites like Bakewell tarts, Battenburg and Victoria sponge! We think it will go down a treat”.
The serviced office operator conducted a poll of 360 business professionals and group employees to draw up the definitive list of favourite British Cakes.
David Saul, Managing Director of Business Environment, added: “Our weekly Friday sugar fix just got very traditional. All our centres across the UK will be celebrating the Diamond Jubilee with a trolley of traditional British Cakes. It’s out with the famous doughnuts for the first time in ten years. But don’t worry, they will be back”.
