BE Offices, &Offices & Headspace clients help raise £2,340 on Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning
For the eight consecutive year, clients and staff at BE Offices, & Offices and Headspace Group’s portfolio of flexible workspace across the UK, took time out on Friday 27th September for cake, coffee and fundraising, to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Macmillan exist to help cancer sufferers from diagnosis, through treatment and beyond, offering emotional, practical and financial support. The money raised last week could pay for a Macmillan nurse for two weeks to help someone living with cancer and their families receive this essential support.
The Friday doughnut run is weekly highlight at BE Offices’ award-winning serviced offices but on the day of Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, clients are invited to decorate their doughnuts or take part in the BE Bake Off by bringing in a homemade cake for a chance to be Star Baker.
In blind taste tests cakes were sampled by elected judges at each centre and the baker of the winning cake at each was awarded a Whittard tea party hamper and ‘Star Baker’ trophy.
In all £2340.92 was raised for this very worthy cause.
