            New-Year-Knockout-Business-How-Serviced-Offices-Can-Help-Top-Image-1

Choosing serviced offices as a business solution for 2025 could be the best New Year resolution you’ll ever make.

As one year ends and another begins, it’s the perfect opportunity to reassess your workplace needs. Providing room to adapt without long-term commitment, shared office space is ideal for businesses in growth phases or for those testing new markets.

            Adaptability in business

If you’re undecided on the best way forward because you’ve had recent setbacks, you’re not alone. However, 65% of SME owners in the UK now feel more confident in their future than they did at the peak of the economic crisis in 2022.

Over the past few years, SMEs have done far more than just survive: almost three-quarters have adapted and evolved to changing circumstances. The mood is more upbeat as business leaders feel they’ve weathered the worst of the storm and better things are to come.

Adaptability in business is the key to moving forward. If you’re a company director who’s taken a hit, consider the words of boxer Rocky Balboa: “It ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.”

Although the fictional character in the iconic franchise of ‘Rocky’ films is a boxer with a lifestyle far removed from the office environment, his upbeat and motivational personality can inspire a positive business mindset.

            Plan your business in 2025

Rocky’s story began in 1976 with the first of nine films about the small-time American boxer known as the Italian Stallion. Suddenly thrust into the limelight when offered a title bout against heavyweight world champion Apollo Creed, Rocky begins training in earnest, with his determination to succeed against the odds inspiring a legion of fans.

Written by screen legend Sylvester Stallone, who also plays Rocky, the character realises he hasn’t yet reached his full potential and begins to seriously consider that he could soon be world champion. He adopts a mindset for success, declaring, “Going one more round when you don’t think you can – that’s what makes all the difference in your life.”

As you plan your business in January, looking ahead to the next 12 months and beyond, draw strength from the fact that you’re still here and have kept going, even when the economic landscape has looked bleak.

Stallone showed just where the inspiration for Rocky came from when he wrote the character’s most famous quote: “If you know what you’re worth, then go out and get what you’re worth, but you’ve got to be willing to take the hits.”

It’s not what happens, but how you react to it that counts. Professional development in business means taking the right path and learning from past mistakes, so that even a situation you think of as being a failure can turn into a positive.

Being based in an office space for sharing can give you an edge over competitors, as it offers multiple benefits such as a ready-to-go setup, cost-effectiveness, an established community to help networking and all the advantages of a prime location.

Serviced offices can support business growth, flexibility and a strong start to the year by helping to keep you in the right mindset and giving you the tools to succeed, such as super-fast internet and multi-line VOIP phones.

No matter how big the company, or how excellent the business model, nobody is exempt from challenges, but starting the new year in a positive mindset, with a clear strategy, will give you the best chance of success.

In Rocky’s words, “The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows, it’s a mean place, but keep moving forward – that’s how winning is done!”
