Business owners are rapidly abandoning the traditional nine-to-five working day.
According to mobile network operator T-Mobile, managers and their staff are increasingly benefiting from flexible, mobile working solutions.
As a result, the office is a much more dynamic than it once was and employees are accessing vital office space resources from a variety of exciting locations.
Martin Lyne, director of SME marketing at T-Mobile, said it is clear that flexible working practices are now a vital part of modern business and the technology that underpins these practices is becoming increasingly essential.
“Half of small business leaders surveyed said they do not believe in the traditional nine-to-five working day, while over a third disagree with the traditional idea of the working week lasting from Monday to Friday,” Mr Lyne said.
He added that the findings of the recent T-Mobile business survey shows that mobile devices – such as smartphones and tablet PCs are the driving force behind this new business revolution.
Vodafone recently urged businesses to consider adopting mobile working in their office spaces as a means of boosting productivity and engagement.
